Every Time I Die- I Didn’t Want to Join Your Stupid Cult Anyway

This is one of the funniest music videos I have ever seen. This is the legitimate music video, it was created by their guitarist, Jordan Buckley. Aside from all the ridiculous memes and images that are shown in the music video, the song is awesome. Its everything you could ask for in an ETID song. This band has some incredible talent and an amazing live performance.

Turnstile- Generator

Finally! The new Turnstile album, Time and Space is out now! I know this was a single but this song is so much fun to listen to. From what I have listened to so far, the album is awesome. Some classic Turnstile vibes as well as some new hardcore sounds. So excited to see them in April.

Molotov Solution-The Dawn of Ascendancy

In the wake of a political nightmare starting when trump was first elected, to the dozens of mass shootings we have had, and the love Americans have for stupid meaningless shit like celebrities, this is a perfect band to listen to. Molotov Solution has some intense lyrics about government corruption and this song especially discusses how we are blinded by democracy. The songs are quite frightening in the fact they are six years old and still entirely relevant. I love the end of the song where Nick Arthur is screaming WAKE UP WAKE UP WAKE THE FUCK UP, talking directly to us to open our eyes to the corruption thats right in front of us. Aside from the lyrics there instrumentals to this entire album are killer and easily one of the best deathcore albums to this day.

Vanna- Flower

Posting this song today not only because its one of my favorites of all time but because its my girlfriends birthday today. She deserves the world and she is my world. I love the lyrics to this song, they’re simply perfect and describe my relationship with her. I traveled 800 miles with her to see this band for the first and last time in Arizona in October. Some of my best memories at a concert and with her.

Harms Way- Become a Machine

Brand new from Harms Way. This band is so sick and I am stoked they just released their album today on metal blade records. I think this will give them much more popularity and attention that they deserve. This song hits hard and the whole album is good ol Harms Way. The breakdown at the end of the song really hits hard.

Silent Planet- Redivider

I wanted to post the lyrics for this song because it is incredibly creative. If you read closely you can see about halfway through the song the lyrics become opposite of the verse from the beginning of the song. The name ‘Redivider’ is a palindrome and the song is essentially the same. Silent Planet is certainly a band to look out for in the future. They’re an incredibly talented band both live and on CD. They also have some amazing writing skills as seen in this song.
